Here Is Your Greatest Of All Time Team

DKM you did a great job that I know required a lot of time and effort and just wanted to say how much I both enjoyed and appreciated it.

I don't agree with all the choices the group made but that is understandable as the only topic that brings as much passion and disagreements has to be politics. I can understand some of the picks despite my disagreeing with them, but some of those chosen while great players clearly were not the best ever at their respective positions, well at least to me.

Once again great job DKM.

Here Is Your Greatest Of All Time Team

Great Job on "The Greatest Blog of All-Time"! I feel fortunate that I stumbled on to it the first week and followed it faithfully for the last three months. It was great that there were basically no petty squabbles till the RB and QB slots; Those being from newcomers who couldn't express their opinion without ripping on another. I think a lot of that had to do with the nature of your opening comments each week, and generally ignoring the occasional out-of-line poster.
For those of you who were here from the beginning (Charter members of the GTOAT Blog), I feel a certain affinity for you as kind of a fraternal brotherhood and look forward to seeing your comments on future CBS sites.

I hadn't planned this and did no homework (I didn't do any homework on any of my lists, though I did give them so forethought.) I couldn't let this go until putting together one last King of Bling! list...The Greatest Coach:
#1 - Paul Brown - Mr. Championship. He won more pro titles (7) than any coach ever. Perhaps the most innovative coach ever, even more than Gilman. Yes, Lombardi has a trophy named after him but Brown had a team named after him (Cleveland Browns)!
#2 - George Halas - Papa Bear is the man most responsible for there even being an NFL.
#3 - (Tie) Curly Lambeau (Lambeau Field) Vince Lombardi - Combined to make Green Bay on of the two most storied franchises in NFL history.
#4 - Don Shula - Super Bowl titles and appearances, 17-0, most wins, what more could you want.
#5 - Tom Landry - Innovative, ultra classy. Perhaps the greatest gentleman the game has ever known.

I know I went really old-school on #'s 2&3 but for alpahbetical Misc. figure post 1950: George Allen, Weeb Ewbank, Joe Gibbs, Sid Gilman, Bud Grant, Marv Levy, John Madden, Chuck Noll, Bill Parcells, allie Sherman, Hank Stram, Bill Walsh.
