Ok, here is the deal, every Friday I will post a new Blog in which we will choose the greatest player ever at a certain position. Until the next position is posted CBS members may vote for who they think the greatest ever is, at the end of the voting I will calculate every ones votes and will add that player to The Greatest Team Ever. I hope lots of you participate because I think this could be fun. I will try to post a running tally in a comment every day.

19th Position- Quarter Back Vote for the best Quarter Back of all time!! Please post your vote in a comment, if you wish to give some insight on your choice feel free to do so. Please start your post with the players name, and please make sure that you are naming someone who played the position being voted on for that week, as those are the only votes that will count..........So who is our Quarter Back? Please remember to rate this blog entry, and all comments as I appear to be losing value points for doing this blog, I happen to believe a lot of you enjoy it however, so I will continue even though I may be a rookie by the time it is over!

Please remember to rate this blog entry, and all comments as I appear to be losing value points for doing this blog, I happen to believe a lot of you enjoy it however, so I will continue even though I may be a rookie by the time it is over!

I went to a concert last night, Flogging Molly in a small club in KY. I am usually someone who goes right to the front to enjoy a show, right into the muck if you will. This place was so packed however that the whole place was like being in the pit, so the group I went with headed to the balcony to perhaps at least be able to see the show and not the back of a mass of heads. I had never watched a show from a balcony and was hoping it would be a good place to see. The balcony was far less crowded but were still a line of people up against the railing about 3 or 4 deep. We settled in all trying to catch occasional glimpses of the band as the people ahead of us moved their heads from time to time. I thought about pushing to the front as I would down on the floor but then I remembered, you are in the balcony, there is a different etiquette up here. It was here I discovered this new species of human " I am the show guy".

Yeah well anyway this was a response I had to a thread titled "What really grinds my gears", but I thought I might as well put it in my Blog as well for posterity.

Seriously though what really grinds my gears is these poverty level retards who spend hours at a time inside a gas stations playing (paying) the lottery (voulantary tax). Its bad enough that they will stand at the head of the line for how ever long they want no matter how many people are in line behind them. I think a good idea would be for a chain of gas stations that refused to sell lottery. Wake up!! Quit paying to be poor, put that money in an IRA, a savings account, or a shoebox under your bed for God sakes. Because believe me from the looks of some of you lottery buyers you'll soon be needing it.

I am finding all these people speaking out against Tiger Woods ridiculous. The color of your skin does not predetermine your personality, your worth, your reactions, or beliefs. It makes me wonder who are the true racists here. Tiger is a the best golfer in the world, he is half African American, he is a good citizen, he is not or ever claimed to be an activist for race relations. How do these people think that he is under some responsibility to speak out on issues the exact same way they would? I for one think Tiger is an individual and deserves to be respected as such, if he chooses not to take such offense at something ignorant a friend says that he would crusade to ruin her life, I feel that is commendable. Racism is intolerance, he has shown remarkable tolerance. These activists who have come out to bash him may need to look in the mirror and realize that one of the first roads to racism is to not see people as individuals, be careful. If you wish to speak out on something, do so, but do not think that just because someone has the same color skin as you that they must say, act, and do the same as you.

What a Super Bowl Sunday it will be for Brady, not only will he be capping off his record setting season on the games biggest stage, he will also be going for his 4th ring. 4 rings, we all know what that means he will be tied with Joe Montana and Terry Bradshaw, almost any knowledgeable fan will agree that Joe Montana is the best all time. So that means that Brady will not only be claiming a ring, but will almost certainly be considered by many as the best ever. I never would have believed that I would see another QB as great as Montana, but when Brady wins his 4th I will have to give him the nod. So Joe, I know you are a class guy unlike some loud mouth Dolphins we all know, you were the best for a long time and your career will not be diminished but you are about to be #2.

I am not a Falcon fan but I think any fan of the NFL has to feel a little compassion for this franchise. I know nothing of Mike Smith other than he was defensive coordinator for the Jacksonville Jaguars. He has said his number one priority is to establish the running game,"My goal is to build a well-disciplined, hard-nosed football team that will be able to run the football on offense and stop the run on defense," Smith said. "I've always believed that's what makes championship teams."

I certainly hope he does that and I sincerely hope he gives Jerrius Norrwood a chance to shine. I think that one of the most disgusting things about the Falcons last season was that Norrwood ended up with a 6.0 yd per carry average but never even averaged 7 carries a game??? Warrick Dunn is no longer suited to be a starter and should take a back seat to a kid who seems to have unbelievable talent.

I know I should probably curb my enthusiasm but it's been a rough season so far and this might be my last best chance to get excited. I didn't get home from work untill about 7 minutes to go in the second half but I got to see the end of the game. I haven't watched every game this year but it was the best I have seen them look all year. I have been telling myself that we were not going to come close to sniffing the NCAA's all year...but now? I seriously think that if they can go 10-6 or 11-5 in the SEC which is a good possibility if they continue to play like they did last night and win at least 2 SEC tournament games we should get in. I really hope we get in, it will be devastating not to make the tournament. I was not on board with the Gillespie hiring in the first place, I would have liked to have seen Travis Ford get a chance, but that is in the past now and I hope Billy proves me wrong and brings us six or seven titles while he is here.

I just heard about this at work while browsing the internet. I then began to wonder if I would always recall when and where I was when I heard of his death, a good chance I will now that I have written about it. No offense intended but if I hadn't wrote about it I seriously doubt it would have a lasting sting to me personally, when I told a fello co-worker who then asked me who he was I could only think of two movies off the top of my head that he had been in and I had only seen one of them, and NO it wasn't Brokeback Mountain. That was one of the two I thought of but not the one I had seen, the one I had seen was 10 Things I Hate About You. Now I am not sure why I recalled that film and not some others he has been in but that also led me on this thought of memory and what we remember and why. I know in my life I can remeber a number of famous people whom upon hearing of their death I felt actual honest to God grief, even though I had never met them, and for that reason knew I would never be able to forget the circumstances surrounding my finding out of there departures. Kurt Cobain was one; Joey Ramone, Derrick Thomas, Chris Farley, and Hunter S. Thompson were others. It is strange that in this day and age that total strangers can be such a powerful part of your life that you have true grief for them when they are gone. To all those distraught over the death of Heath Ledger I offer my sympathy.

Oh my God, does it suck to be sick. I have to blow my nose every 2 minutes, my eyes are watering so bad people keep asking me why I am crying, I have coughed so much that my throat feels like sandpaper, and for some reason whenever I get sick I get heartburn that could put down a grizzly bear. That would all be horrible enough but when you add the fact that I have to come into work with it on a holiday...well maybe there are some tears in that eye watering. I can’t wait to get out of here and go to the store for some drugs that will probably not work. I have not found cold medicine yet that really works, yet every time I get a cold I go out and spend around 20 dollars on some. If anybody thinks they have the shizz-nit as far as cold medicines go please tell me. Well its lunch time I think I’ll go try to find somewhere to lie down, I wish I had a nap desk like George on Seinfeld.

I am beginning to think that Boston must be God's favorite city. Lets face it they have probably the best shot of anyone in history to sweep all four major sport championships. I know I am looking ahead quite a bit, not really though the Red Sox have done their part. New England is not going to be stopped, the Celtics will certainly be there at the end. The Boston Bruins will have to get hot but that is certainly possible, and even if they don't get it done 3 out of 4 isn't bad. Either way it is a great time to be a fan of the city or any of their teams. It is the sports capitol of America.

If all that isn't enough the city has also produced the best band of all time, The Dropkick Murphys who support their city and their teams like no other. I hope they get all four, the Murphys deserve it.

http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.ListAll&friendID=66703213 That is the link to my Myspace blog, there you can see the post that was deemed so reprehensible that the admins had to ride in on their white horses and remove it.

Here is a message I left trying to get an answer:

I was just wondering if I might have an explenation of why my blog entry was removed by the admin? It was meant to be taken humorously and even if it wasn't there was no explicit language, the post from the previous day was every bit as "bad" as this one yet that post was advertised in a blog from someone with a CBS eye on the main community page. Anyway I think it's kind of stupid to open up a blog site where you police the blogs to this degree, there are plenty of blog sites already available, many where you can cuss like a sailor as well.

Let me startout by saying that I am not a fan of Peyton Manning if that upsets you I suggest you do not continue reading because I have nothing remotely good to say about him. I don't think I will be to harsh on him right off but who knows this is just kinda stream of consciensous stuff. I am sure that is spelled wrong but I don't even want to try to cut and paste from Word I mean after all this is still CBS. Anywho I did not even realize untill a few weeks ago that Peyton was married, I was at a Christmas party and one of my numerous relatives who are of course Colts fans told me the joyous news. I was imediately perplexed, who was this person? Why had I not seen any photos? What was there to hide? I made quite a few jokes at the party about it being Eli in a wig and sundress but that was just to upset my own personal "Colts nation". I honestly wanted to know who this woman was and where he keeps her, I had an image in my head of Buffalo Bill yelling down the hole that "it puts the lotion on the skin". That couldn't be possible though, could it? He doesn't have some bound and gagged woman down a well, that he wants to make a suit out of does he?.......Thats all for now mabey more tommorrow.
